Xenomorph painting

At this stage, I basically painted it. Nothing out of the ordinary, the xenomorph was painted in six different layers to give its skin a metallic feel. I had to invent some techniques in the process, and this was the result, which from certain angles resembles a type of bronze. The photos (especially those taken with a cell phone) don't do justice to its 3D appearance. The paint varies depending on the incidence of light. I was very pleased with the result.

I made a composition of several varnishes so that the final shine would not look like a car, with a uniform shine. I wanted to add a certain organicity, like parts that are more slimy than others. You can see this on the head hood.
